Your Voice, Your Game: from findings to action

According to our new report, published in collaboration with the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership, Your Voice, Your Game: Lived Experiences of Women and Gender-Diverse People in Australian Football, 95% of women and gender-diverse people working or volunteering in Australian football say they have experienced gender-based discrimination. The report also found that 62% have experienced sexual harassment while participating in football. 

These are just some of many alarming findings that paint a damning picture of the state of football across the nation. This groundbreaking research is the first of its kind to examine the experiences of women and non-binary people at all levels of Australian football, from grassroots to elite.
