About the event
Women Onside is hosting its first Great Debate!
With the Women's World Cup being hosted by Australia and New Zealand in 2023, Women's Football is at the forefront of the football community’s mind, so we want to put it centre stage!
During The Great Debate, our elite lineup of debaters will go head-to-head in a friendly debate about INVESTMENT IN WOMEN'S FOOTBALL
With Liz Seddon as our Magnificent Moderator.
Our debaters include:
- Shona Bass – Matildas Cap No. 2 and FA Walking Football Ambassador
- John Didulica – Director of Football at Melbourne Victory FC
- Mandy Rashleigh – Global Head of Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Westpac
- Aish Ravi – Member FA Women’s Football Council
- Kasey Symons – Research Fellow at Swinburne University
- Kimon Taliadoros – CEO of Football Victoria

For those taking public transport, trams 11 and 48 stop nearby on Harbour Esplanade. Southern Cross train station is also just an eight-minute walk away. Parking is not available onsite.
