This online masterclass is designed to support anyone seeking to develop the skills and knowledge required for leadership and governance roles in sport. Football is for everyone, but its leadership does not always reflect its players. At Women Onside, we believe governance is a vehicle for systemic change, and that it is not an elite or inaccessible skill - a practical toolkit that can be learned.
This program provides a structured and practical introduction to governance in football, combining professional development with real-world application. Participants build a clear understanding of how boards and committees operate, how decisions are made, and what effective leadership looks like in practice.
The masterclass is grounded in lived experience and industry expertise. It blends technical knowledge with storytelling, discussion and applied learning, ensuring participants not only understand governance concepts but can apply them confidently within their own organisations. Program format
