We are pleased to announce our upcoming Director Elections and invite interested and eligible members to consider nominating for our Board.  If you’re passionate about driving gender equality in football, are keen to help grow a strong member-led movement, and want to shape a future where football creates positive change, we’d love you to nominate.

 

We have four (4) Director positions available for election at our Annual General Meeting on 15 September 2025.  Currently, our Board comprises nine Directors (seven elected and two appointed), and these elections will help shape the future direction of Women Onside.

 

Two incumbent Directors, Kieran Pender and Olivia Roney have indicated they will re-nominate for election and one Co-Opted Director, Patrick Clancy has indicated they will nominate for an elected Director position.

 

Key Dates

• Nominations Open:  14 August 2025

• Nominations Close: 31 August 2025 at 5:00 PM (AEST)

• Election Date: 15 September 2025 (at the AGM)

 

Eligibility Requirements

To nominate for a Director position, you must:

• Be a current Member of Women Onside Limited

• Be nominated by two (2) current Members entitled to vote

• Provide signed consent to act as a Director

• Not be ineligible under the Corporations Act

 

Elected Directors serve two-year terms, with positions becoming available for re-election on a rotational basis as outlined in our Constitution.

1. Download the Nomination and Consent to Act as a Director form

2. Complete all sections of the form

3. Two Women Onside members entitled to vote must sign the form

4. Review the Director Position Description

5. Submit your completed nomination to secretary@womenonside.com.au no later than 5:00 PM (AEST) on 31 August 2025.

 

Our Nominations Committee will assess each nomination and provide their recommendation/s to the Board on candidates for election.
